(01) The challenge
Atlas Ferro’s ordering platform had grown over ten years. Customers needed training just to place an order, and support tickets kept rising.
(02) Our approach
We shadowed buyers in three countries and mapped every task they performed. Most of the platform was rarely used — five core jobs made up 90% of the work.
What we focused on
Five core jobs. Reorder, quote, track, invoice and support — each one task, one screen.
Fewer clicks. Smart defaults and saved lists cut ordering from 20 steps to 6.
Shared language. A design system so engineers and designers build the same thing.
The result: a platform people can use without training.
(03) The solution
We redesigned the ordering platform, built a design system for the in-house team and launched a new marketing site that explains the product in one scroll.
What we delivered
Platform redesign — 120 screens across web and tablet.
Design system — components, tokens and documentation.
Marketing site — Framer site with case studies and pricing.
Rollout plan — training videos and in-app guides.
